I Don't Know if anyone else has said about this, but to me, it looks like BBC One & Two are keeping their trailers to their own channel.

I'm sure I've seen restoration trailers on BBC 1.

Having seen the new-style trails on my new-ish TV at home via Sky Digital, I didn't think they looked too bad.

Then I saw them on a cheapo old telly at work off analogue, and they looked really awful with the red bleeding all over the text to the point that on the menu slide, it was almost unreadable.

Surely they don't expect everyone to have a perfectly adjusted, top-notch TV set. Smacks of bad design to me.

Why couldn't they have filled with slides and live announcing?

Because this is the 21st century and people would turn off in droves..? Perhaps they should bring back the Interlude...? Wink

I take it you are Simon L u x t o n !

(edit)

How odd - I had to put the spaces in Simon's surname! Has L u x t o n suddenly become a profanity..? Laughing

And they would stay faced with this amount of baloney?

People have switched over during ads for years. This is advertising of sorts, so wouldn't they do so here?

Why won't the other BBC channels conform to BBC 1's domination plan?
