I was just thinking that, Steve.

Poor chap. I just watched it back, and he was there for 30 seconds after finishing the forecast. (I wonder if the producer in the weather studio could have faded him out?)

Apparently the problem was due to Colossus having a bit of a funny turn. In fact, it looks like they've just padded with the breakdown slide until Question Time was due to be played out from Birmingham.

i would be more than greatful if someone could upload it as I missed it.
Thanks

Eh... Colossus? What's that, then?

That's the problem with digital media - it's difficult to tell whether any faults are your end or the broadcaster's. Something made painfully obvious the other night during the report on Saddam's trial; how many others thought their dish/Freeview box was playing up until Darren apologised afterwards?

I know what you mean. The other day I suddenly got a "No Satellite Signal is being received" message, and was fiddling around with the box when I noticed that a magpie was perched on my LNB. It's a good job it wasn't something I was recording, as I'm not sure whether Sky+ carries on after the signal has been interupted? Confused

Simpler than that, why didn't he just calmly walk off shot, would that have been so bad ?

Or why presentation couldn't have been a bit quicker with the breakdown slide

I seem to remember another time when this happened with, I believe Alex Deakin again, staring at the camera, smiling, then glanced to the left and right before looking back again and then was cut off.

Didn't think it was worth its own thread; bit of a cockup going into "The Thick of It" last night. Full-length, clean swimming pool ident followed by this slide for about 7 seconds, then into the programme.

Is there any need for you to constantly ask people to capture things?
