How many regions carry Harry Gration's Super League Show, and what do other regions that don't carry this programme see in its' place?

All the North do, everyone else gets normal network programming, which is usually normal sunday lunchtime type stuff that isn't that important.

The red box's for Yorks and Lincs are by the way...

BBC ONE Yorks & Lincs (for BBC Yorkshire & Lincolnshire)

BBC ONE Yorkshire (for BBC Yorkshire, Note "and the North Midlands" is mentioned in the announcement but isn't officially part of the name of the region, dispite what the DSAT DOG said

BBC ONE Lincs & E Yorks (that way around for some reason for BBC East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, note again 'North Lincolnshire' isn't generally part of the name of the region)

Seeing how many regions are available in England, I'm shocked, isn't it about time the nations had subopts as well. I mean Reporting Scotland news is very west central belt orientated. ITV is so so much better with 3 regions.

The whole of Scotland with one region yet down there you have BBC Channel Islands. Even if say BBC Aberdeen (yes they have a studio there, though not many people have heard of it), opted out of Reporting Scotland for 5-10 mins, then it truly would be a National news programme.

What populations are served by the different BBC regions/nations?

BBC Scotland 5-6 Million
BBC London 8 Million
BBC Channel Islands (what 250 - 500 thousand maybe ?)

Where's BBC Yorkshire based? I think Yorks & Lincs is Leeds, and Lincs & E Yorks is Hull, my hometown.

The population in the London TV area is 11 million, this was the figure a few years back, presumably working on the 1991census - it is more now.

That's about a 5th of the population of the UK

Wales - 3 million. The difference between these two figures is what makes London both a good and a bad place to live. Laughing

BBC Yorkshire is Leeds, used when they're transmitting on Emley only (ie Belmont is coming from Hull). When they're both together, such as the lunchtime news the Yorks & Lincs ident is used.

Both programmes are broadcast from Leeds, though the Belmont studio is in Hull. There are no technical crew in Hull, everything is done `down the line` from Leeds.
That will change when the new BBC studio opens in Hull

I know what you're getting at, I left that out because I didn't want to overcomplicate it, but as we're being pedantic Wink aren't the cameras vision mixed in Hull and the plasma screens? Otherwise multiple lines to Leeds would be needed.
