Were they all in true 16:9? I think Nottingham has a proper digital suite so East Midlands Today should be.

The only regions to be in 16:9 are South East, London and East Midlands (not sure about Hull) as well as NI, Wales, Scotland

Next will be Norwich (who move into their new building soon) and Midlands (again when they relocate)

Hull is still in a shoebox in Radio Humberside's building, via a gallery in Leeds, they'll probably go 16:9 when they move, as will Leeds

Everything should be in the right place (nations AND regions) from said date.

"It's been confirmed that BBC 1 in the West will be launched officially on digital satellite on Tuesday, 29 July. It's great news, particularly for smaller regions like us which have never been on digital satellite in any form. From that date every Points West bulletin and programme, The Politics Show, Inside Out and anything else we do regionally on BBC 1 will appear on '101' at the top of the electronic programme guide automatically. "

That's what our boss said.
