Are Cambridge and Jersey definately going to appear at some point?

Yes, they'll certainly appear.

As noggin was saying, Cambridge just needs BBCi to release some transponder space (I'd GUESS that'll be at the end of Wimbledon); but St Helier needs some technical wizardry as well, so is likely to be a bit longer.

Just thought I`d let you know that some viewers wont be able to get the Belmont (Hull) version of Look North on 101 in areas that it currently broadcasts to on analogue.

A very interesting comment, which indicates a detailed knowledge of how the postcode mapping will operate.

I'm extremely surprised that anyone is admitting to that sort of detailed information at this, quite early, stage.

Care to let us know more details of what you know?

Working for the beeb in Leeds, thats all I can tell you, as thats all we've been told -
Sadly I`ve no idea how the postcode mapping works, but some viewers who receive Belmont Look North Hull analogue will get the Leeds version on DSAT. Though it will be sorted out by next year.

And using the term "self-opt" rather than "self-op".

Pardon me if I'm sceptical.

If you don't believe then, you know what you can do - I dont tell lies.

This what really annoys me about this forum - You try to you enthusiasts a favour by letting you know people before its released to the general public.

Wait and see and next time I won't bother.

I can back up that In Tune is genuine, he has in the past mentioned some stuff in the Look North thread which wasn't public knowledge (everything from stuff like this to who is presenting tommorow's Look North)

I think you'll find InTune DOES work for the BBC - after all the info he has given has always been correct and accurate. Also the IP is something you couldn't fake.

A little unfair to accuse the poor fella when he comes here and posts useful information!

Agreed - he's done me many a little favour giving me great news in advance so I can prepare as best I can for changes to Look North's format. he's been very good to me in that respect...

InTune, please carry on doing the good job you do....

Shame on you Nick for questioning In Tunes authenticity, he has proved 100% reliable in the past. Sit in the corner and have another wine gum.

My goodness, suddenly being a sceptic is being construed by everyone (except Squarey) as calling the bloke a total liar.

The chap's even calling me an "arse", now, in a PM, which is a carbon copy of his latest post, except for the addition of the expletive.

Next thing on here, all the agnostics will be branded as athiests.

Will you all please go away and check your dictionarys.

You can then come back and apologise if you care to.
