Urr they didn't. There was a power cut across Westminster which knocked the operation out and resulted in a full breakdown. Services designed to be shown on BBC World had to be broken into resulting in a very confused run down.

Full report expected on that one!

Well, Dimbleby was probably glad of the rest. Going on all-nighters at his age can't be very good for his health.

- For legal reasons, I have to state David Dimbleby is a legendary broadcaster with years of Election experience and I hope to join the Question Time audience in 2 weeks or so.
