Oddly BBC Three is still in normal mode whilst BBC Four has dug out its trusty Frost ident (IIRC it was the other way round last year).
Shame about BBC Two reusing last year's ident; they should have at least produced a new ident featuring the Sprite to air alongside the other two. Also note that BBC Two trails are using the standard endboards as opposed to the ident themed ones used last year

There's not a lot to the ident really, not as good as the penguins or even the giant snowball which had a lot more going on.

Strangely, because penguins exist all year round .

I remember people complaining about the Penguins not having a Christmas feel. So what is so Christmassey about one man and his dog on a sled?

Perhaps that should be "...of the Circles era so far ", as I didn't think that BBC One was rebranding next year!

Snowball is definately the best Christmas ident of the circles era.

I'd agree with that although I think with Wallace and Gromit we could all do with a laugh this year.
