While I don't like the fact we're still stuck with kids and that horrible theme, at least they're not jumping around inanely. Personally, I think this is the best BBC One Christmas identity since the Globes.

I don't like it. When the animation has finished it doesn't look that bad but the first few seconds of the kids close up and those strange big balls looks odd.

Plus as also said that 'The one for Christmas' voice is already annoying

I hate the music, I agree, it isn't christmassy at all, much preferred last years music. The ident itself is brilliant though.

It even sounds like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Shocked

Question is, who was the person who watched and listened to the fim and thought "Perfect style for the Xmas ident this year!" Rolling Eyes

Oh, there's a larger ident clip for anyone who wants it although dial-up users should probably steer clear.

It's different, and yet so depressingly similar to the rubbish we've had for the past three years. Hopefully next year there should be something completely different!

What's wrong with the theme? It's not much different from those German tracks used on Ceefax (think Sonoton library or Jingle Bells - Christmas Strings & Voices).

Very colourful and festive. Can't see why everyone's complaining - it's one of the best they've done.
