You say 11 months away but I always find that the Summer time goes on forever.

Roll on next Christmas! Very Happy

Yes, I think it will be January 3rd as well. A promotion for bank holiday Monday used the festive package, but one for Tuesday used the normal graphics.
Yep; 6am Tuesday.

No you're not sad! I hate summer....it's hot, sticky, uncomfortable, noisy, full of yobs getting p.i.s.s..ed, unbearable to work in, and it goes on forever. It gets light at 3.30am so as I'm a light sleeper I wake up at 3.30am and find it difficult to sleep again! Summer holidays cost a fortune and usually end up with a row with mates and a falling out, families insist on barbecues and therefore you spend hours with people who annoy you....at least with Christmas it's for a day or two, in the summer it's every other weekend!!

Roll on next September! Can't come soon enough!!! I also suffer from extreme migraines in the summer.

You want to see what it's like in the Orkney Islands. I was staying there once on June 21st, and the sun was up at 1:10 am!

When I first saw these... things I thought it was some kind of joke. The children are definitely more sinister in 2005 and the music was utter crap. 2004's spacehopper one outperforms this anytime - and remember who invented it? Well unless the person or persons who thought up the Christmas idents for 2005 are younger than ten years of age then I suggest the beeb give them the cold shoulder. Exclamation

IIRC we are due for new BBC One idents in 2007? Meaning that this years will be the last of the Christmas dancers, so they better bring us half decent idents for 2006!

I honestly think we'll get new idents before the end of 2006, especially seeing as ITV are refreshing their idents.

I'd guess there will be new ID's around Autumn; November at the absolute latest.

Buy some blackout curtains - they're quite cheap and can be fitted on the same hooks as your existing curtains - they've blocked out the light from the new dazzling street lamp the Council put yards away from my bedroom window! A blackout blind may work too. Not sure what you can do about the birds though!

Personally, I love the summer months, I can't stand these dark mornings and afternoons.

<Mr Burns Voice> Excellent! </Mr Burns Voice>

The end is nigh for Heggessey's legacy (that wasn't intended to rhyme) and her stupid dancers! Maybe the last showing of them will be Ballet to mark what a "sad" occasion it is to lose the dancers! Lol.

Wonder what the new idents will be like...

I know this is off topic but...
I take it that street light is on the *outside* of your window. Only I have over 20 on the *inside*. (Yes, I collect them. And yes, I am stark staring bonkers Very Happy) Perhaps I should invest in a blackout curtain too - my next door neighbour is an astronomer!

They took their idents down before the epifany!

lol, at school, my tutor group left tinsel wrapped around the clock until the end of the year last year. the department moved out into another brand-spanking-new block, at the beginning of this acedamic year, and the department we used to share the older block with expanded into where my tutor-group's department were. The new tutor took it down Sad!

Anyway, I think idents should end on the epifany after the night time
schedule. So like after newsnight, or news24 - so at the end of the last programme that started on Christmas.
IT IS JUST ABOUT CHRISTMAS AS I WRITE THIS!
