BBC One Christmas 2019

I'm holding off until Strictly until I see it animated but the still looks very underwhelming. I guess we'll have to wait until it's fully unwrapped (pun intended!)

This is most likely just the "News Safe" ident. I'm sure there'll be more "lively" idents in the set.

From what I'm seeing so far, it's all looking pretty good to me!!

Might want to put that in a spoiler tag - if you're waiting until tonight I'd advise not watching that video.

I quite like the news-safe ident, it's quite soothing with the choir although it's a shame the announcer basically drowns that out a bit.

Hope this is a teaser of what's to come in 2020.
Hopefully a complete change of look and style for One in 2020?

If the theme for New Year 2020 is gonna be a continuation (without the Christmassy stuff) called #OneLife then I'll be very happy as it'll contrast well from the abstract and quirky idents BBC Two has.
BBC One can have something fun and charming for their new idents in 2020.
Hopefully my wish will come true on New Year's Day. Finally, One-mess is presumably dead!

I have a horrible feeling it will all come crashing back down to earth on Thursday 2nd January with the return of dreary Oneness.

I bloody hope not!

That would be a huge waste of an opportunity to continue this theme of having fun for 2020...

Also if #OneLife is the theme for 2020, they could use the normal version of "Feel Good Inc" as the music.
Please, BBC One, don't make 2020 another year of dreary One-mess...
