BBC One Christmas 2019

It's my first time watching the Christmas special from Strictly this year. The set design & the lighting looks wonderful for it.

Sounds like Duncan's having fun today, snoring sound effects added to the Rochelle ident and his kid back for the 6pm junction.

All but completely drowned out by the music when I saw that one on Freesat HD. They had it fixed for the next one.

People did question the strange 8:30 timeslot at the time

Never noticed any throughout.

If it had been on ITV I would have thought Morrisons and Waitrose had sponsored the programme 😏

I’m not sure it quite worked as the sound effects were competing with the music from the ident, and with the ident music being ‘sung’ it made it quite difficult to hear.

Anyone know why the Two Ronnies Sketchbook repeat is only 20 mins, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have been that length when it was first shown?

Why is BBC One running late?

This aired on Christmas Day 2005 in a 65 minute slot, but due to the pushing out the late news, they have trimmed it down I suspect.
