The cuckoo clock one is okay. Reminds me of the cartoons from 1986 I guess.

The cat one...no. It’s very much tailor designed as something the Internet will look at because it’s sort of endearing. It’s a break from Oneness, sure, but it could easily have aired on five or UK Gold in 2002 during their bland period of “things happening with a logo slapped on top of it”.

Cute animation, and I’m glad they’ve gone to the trouble of recording a unique version of the song they’ve chosen, but that short riff is going to get very old, very fast.

Who said BBC One would never reinstate a clock ident?

Missed a trick not doing a version of the clock without the cuckoo animation for the news safe ident.

Interesting that BBC Alba has launched its Christmas ident, BBC Scotland were on standard idents at 8.00.

Love the second ident too and having the logo front and centre as it doesn’t interfere with the animation. This is a great package so far.
