They're missing a trick if there isn't a ident with Mother and Son crabbing off of the pier..! But I should expect there'll probably be one with them in the amusements at least, judging by how all the Father and Son idents from last year were pretty linked in with the climax of the short film.

Will we see Sea Swimmers v2 with santa hats? Practically on the edge of my seat. Rolling Eyes

If they're this poor they really should hold them back so they don't air as long - another two weeks wouldn't have harmed.

Could be worse though - at least there isn't a group of swimmers coming out of the sea.

This is the BBC One Christmas Ident. I think it's a bit depressing.

Let's not forget BBC One at Christmas has previously included a giant white snowball, a blank red theatre curtain, and a bald man's head. Even last year's not-properly-looped animations got a bit annoying.

I have to say I quite like the simplicity of the Christmas tree, although the pier looks a bit far away in the other one. Overall, they're pretty acceptable to me.
