Shouldn't the subtitle "New Saturday night ident - from 24th April?" of this thread be changed? That was about the
animated ident for last spring's Saturday line up of Total Wipeout, Doctor Who, and ... that Wizard of Oz thing!

Does anyone know who's doing continuity tonight? I liked the coming up link after the One Show...
"Coming up next [[insert character name]] makes a chilling request, let's hope it's not Jedward."

What's the score with Peter Offer? I thought he had left but once again he was on BBC 1 last night.

I hadn't realised that peter had left, he's been announcing several times since the year.

he really is the 'voice' of bbc 1 imo.... can he be heard on any other channel then?

Which regions did 'Stand up for [your region]' air in last night? Was it across all the English regions or just in Yorkshire, Midlands and South East?

BBC listings page suggests it was just those regions, other regions were showing John Bishop's Britain.

South also showed the programme. I believe it was the same programme in all regions that opted. In the South East we had a South East branded ident and the local recorded CA mentioned the fact that BBC Sussex's Neil Pringle was in the programme. The programme titles were unique to each region too but I think the actual content was the same.

Nice to see Harry Gration again.

Notice Malin managed to get her sodding mutt in the show.

Onto today, the fat Man U fan is presenting Songs Of Praise, so he is.

Odd Sky EPG problems at the moment. I have South East Today set to start at 17:50 (even though it is now 17:52) followed by 'Regional News and Weather' at 18:00. I'm guessing they extended the national news but someone messed up when updating the EPG.

Kudos to Bang goes the Theory for getting an earthquake special together so quickly. Not sure the Strictly ident was particularly appropriate though
