Does anyone know who was tonight (31/12/10-01/01/11) BBC One continuity announcer? As they said it was there last day.

I guess BBC R&D (who developed it originally) have tweaked it for 16:9 and are using it as a test source in TC0, the TV Centre studio which they've been allocated to use as a test bed.

I've just seen this fairly good promo for BBC ONE HD before the Indiana Jones film this evening. I don't know for how long it's been airing, but I was unimpressed with the quality as it seemed to be a poor upscale of SD, rather than 'sparkling' HD (or as near as the Beeb gets).
