So there's the ident. Pretty uninspiring to say the least...

Hmm, there's a surprising lack of energy to it, even the logo formation seems lethargic:

TV Centre looks great though.

Interesting choice of music style - although I'm unsure whether it works here. Doesn't really come across as a remarkable ident in my view, though I can appreciate the choreography and I'm sure it was good fun for all the participants!

Does anyone else watching BBC One South East on DSAT (Sky in my case) get a second of picture and sound break up at around 18:58 everyday and then the same about 30 seconds later? So, at some point in Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday and just as they are meeting the guest on The One Show weeknights (this also happened at the start of Children in Need last night too).

This must have been going on for around a month now and although I have no timed systems in my flat that do anything at that time, I just assumed that someone in the same building must have. This was until I was watching BBC One at my parents house (same setup, same region) and they see the same picture break up. This makes me think that there must be more people seeing this and it must be something wrong somewhere further up the distribution chain. So, who else sees this break up and how do you get your pictures?

Anyone watching BBC One South East on DSAT not get this problem?

I've noticed break up on BBC Yorkshire DSAT just as they're introducing the guests on The One Show. Wonder if it's anything to do with the switch from CBBC and CBeebies to BBC Three and BBC Four and any effect that has on the statmuxing?

With the new Strictly ident, when there is a couple dancing with the strictly logo behind them, a guy in a black shirt, and a woman in a long dark dress, at the bottom of the screen over the woman's dress, there is a blurry square, that is only on the ident over those two dancing.

Does anyone know what it is?

It looks, from the way it moves, like some kind of lens flare?

Feels like 2002 all over again!

The ident is alright but that music is absolutely terrible.
