Anyone else spotted the *very* slight change to the idents then?

Personally, I thought the translucent red swirl looked wishy-washy so this is a small improvement, although a return to white or even the original idea of pulling your finger out and matching the colour of the animation to each ident would have been preferable.

Pudsey Bear is making an appearance keyed over idents and menus this morning.
Not worth its own thread - is it just me that thinks the astons on the Lord Mayor's Show coverage look unbelievably poor? If somebody posted those in the mocks forum here they'd be laughed at.

I agree the translucent red swirl didn't work for me, making it a solid colour is better. I also agree that the colour of the swirl should either be white or much the colour of the ident. Why did the swirl have to be one colour? The swirl should also happen a few times so you can see the circle and I'd have the swirl ending as a thin circle so that 'BBC One' isn't there on its own.

According to the press release, it starts airing on November 20th so can't really be a Christmas Ident.
