Actually it looks like Footballers has been withdrawn and the World Cup ident is going to be used around football. I just hope that when the new Controller takes over that he brings back the longer circle idents.
The 'Next and Later' slide in the junction between the 8pm News and EastEnders read "Next The One Show" and "Later Inside Out". The CA trailed EastEnders though. They then played out a trailer and the text from the 'Next and Later' slide remained on screen for the first second or so.
Makes a change from it dispearing a second before the trailer starts, this time it disappeared a second after the trailer started.
Was there ever a BBC One Halloween ident in the current circles theme? Look North Leeds were doing a Halloween feature and the music in the background sounded a bit like a spooky version of the original version of the kites ident. 24 minutes in on http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006mj5m
I can't make my mind up if it was just the original kites soundtrack (can't think why it would have been) or if it was a Halloween/horror film remix of it?

Could it just have been the gallery playing out [audio of] the ident by mistake? It seems louder than the other music and then gets faded down quite quickly.
