Problem with the start of The One Show just then. There was a really long ident (not sure if it had a voice over as I turned over part way through it) and then The One Show titles appeared but were frozen. It then cut to the studio with the presenters saying they didn't know what happened.

BBC1 London went off air for a minute or so at about 6:40 too.

Off air as in a black screen, an apology caption or (unlikely) static? Did BBC London News mention the problem at all?

Here is the junction and start of The One Show...

The One Show's studio is in the same building as RedBee isn't it?

From where I was watching (via DTT at work) it crackled, flashed a bit, went to black and then came back just as suddenly a minute or so later. The presenter did apologise at the end of the programme so it wasn't just me. BBC2 stayed on

The One Show is not on Iplayer yet. I was curious to see how they handled the odd start.

EDIT: It's there now with the frozen titles removed, which means the opening doesn't make as much sense as when it went out live.

Capes (stretching it a bit far to say in representation of Brown's "rainbow coalition"?).

Helicopter into the News Special this evening.

Spot the deliberate mistake:

Quote:
Junior Apprentice further failed to eclipse the 4.28m (18.5%) pulled in by Waterloo Road for BBC One in the 8pm hour, or the 4.98m (20.7%) that Midsomer Murders averaged for ITV1 from 8pm to 10pm.

I think it's quite impressive Waterloo Road reached 4.28m considering it wasn't on...
