Thursday night and at all of the BBC One junctions we seem to be able to hear the Pres. Director/PA. Quite a lot of 'Three, two, one, cut!'s making it in!

Slight delay just now going from the News Special into Bargain Hunt. Was resolved after a few minutes.
Here in Northern Ireland, the local ident played out in full, then cut to black, then to the Network programme fault caption.
Oh, and liking the BBC One Saturday night trailer with animated Dr Who, Norton and Amanda Byram superimposed on the front of TVC.

In related News, Doctor Who not an HD Simulcast it seems, as the Sport on Two is in HD instead, pushing Who in HD to after Eight.

Must admit we were caught out by that, so we missed the first 5 mins on One.
(Mind you the 'backup' copy on my SD plus box appears to have taped anyway, so that can be transferred to DVD at a later date, while the HD box will tape it's own copy later!)

Probably not the right thread, but a good effort from Bang Goes the Theory who have ditched the planned first half of tonight's show (which has probably been in the can for weeks) to make way for a quite detailed and well explained look at the science behind the volcano/ash cloud situation.

Aren't they the most talked about shows on BBC1 all year when they are on?! I can hardly see them being demoted to BBC3!
