Albert Circle - seems appropriate, they've been going round in circles for years and their big 25th birthday stories are all recycled.

As opposed to the other Soaps of course which are all fresh and original. Rolling Eyes

At least they recycle their storylines with new characters though, rather than bringing back the unemployed alumni and giving them the same material as a decade ago.

And they were supposed to be shortening the idents, when whenever it's a special, apart from Ashes to Ashes, the ident's are long. Christmas had a long ident last year, and now this. However, I do like it, especially the music, the Eastender's drumbeat as the logo forms.

Of course. That makes perfect sense. Silly me.

Was it just me or was the ident that played before EastEnders just slightly different to last nights?

EDIT: Seems my question was answered in the last post Smile

iDent? More accurate than 'Channel Trailers' I guess!

I only named it "iDent" as that is what it is called on the bbc website. I usually just call it "ident".

So, it was all done with mirrors and string then. I wouldn't have guessed.

I see the cast watch Jeremy Kyle rather than Animal 24:7 or Homes under the Hammer while they are getting ready.

Yesterday evening (19 Feb), I noticed the BBC One EastEnders themed ident for the first time at 7pm, at the start of The One Show. Who else has seen this?

Is that going to be in permanent use, or have they just made it to mark the 25th anniversary of EastEnders, then after (say) this Sunday it will never be aired again? BBC One don't normally bring out commemorative idents to mark anniversaries of long-running programmes, do they?

Yes, Tumble, it's being set up for a still too for when the Queen dies. Rolling Eyes

Did the ident feature Bradley? Because if it does, it's not likely, because he popped his clogs yesterday,
