Blooming hell, this tedious little promo has generated way too much interest! Have lives become that dull?

It was raining here continuously all day today, so yes !

Was Delroy Haynes announcing earlier between EastEnders and Holby?
He sounded even more... let's say unusual ... than normal. It sounded like he was choking on his words... forgive me for saying it but he sounded completely stoned. Did anyone else hear it?

Forgive me if this is the wrong thread but as it has nothing to do with Christmas I thought this was the best place.

Yes that was very strange. He was quite sarcastic about the storyline in EE saying something along the lines of.."well we didn't see that one coming".

BBC One just experienced a loss of sound during the weather - leaving the continuity announcer to read the weather forecast with a weather slide across the network.

Looked like the weather forecast was coming from the weather balcony as Louise Lear had her headset mic on.

And viewers might have been forgiven for thinking that slide was a valid weather map for tomorrow.
Better to show something generic like fluffy clouds

Sorry if I'm repeating an oft-discussed point... but do This Week always produce promos that end with the wrong font on the endboard?

Dimblebot is right about the standard of that programme...

(Sorry for rubbish cap)

Yes, much like the Strictly one with the drop shadow.

Interesting that they haven't uploaded the Christmas ident to the web a day before like they have done in previous years, all the better in my opinion so we can all react to it when it first goes out on screen Smile
