Local variants of a BBC News advert just shown on One after the 90 second update.
Much like the ITV News advert that was shown a few months ago.
The advert contained edited bits for each region, obviously South region showed "South today" on the astons and microphone. London variant obviously was edited to say "london" instead.

I see the weather in Lancashire is suitably crap, but nicer down south

It also appears the laptop they're using doesn't have Gill Sans installed

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the images on-screen on the phone, laptop etc. were composited in during post-production (or supplied as image files if displayed on-camera, rather than being rendered by a browser) - so suspect the lack of Gill Sans was upstream of the laptop.
And just for accuracy - the video being discussed wouldn't really be described as an advert by broadcasters - more a promo or trail/trailer.
That is a distinction that almost all broadcasters make between commercials and promos - mainly because promos and trails/trailers don't count towards advertising minutage whereas commercials do. (And advertising is controlled by licensing rules)

Well... it is a bit true... If we had the Look North advert showing 23 degrees and sunny skies I don't think I'd take the advert so seriously
