Well there twitter feed cover picture has changed showing stills of old idents, just heard a few rumours that network may follow suit, unsure if it's true but it would be nice and perhaps a welcomed change.

Finally tonight, if you like things vintage - keep a watch out over the next few days between the programmes on @bbconeni and @bbctwoni...

Probably because the 2 idents were merged? Still looks good.

The amount of stuff people are not talking about is getting boring line annoying.
It was mentioned at the time in a thread you were active in, and nobody responded to it.
Strange that nobody mentioned it last month then - it's exactly the sort of thing this forum is about.

PS - I know this isn't the thread, but as it's been mentioned above: Crimewatch has an updated studio, titles and music from tonight. There was a bit about it on Breakfast this morning.

In case anyone is wondering, yes it's the same studio. The news, sportscene, Scotland 2014, politics Scotland and other talk show are filmed in studio c, of course use the same set.

On a vaguely related note, out of all the programmes to come out of that studio, I think Sportscene have probably gained the most by having the new set installed at the beginning of the year. Whilst other programmes have obviously gained too, they all generally fitted with the set-up of the old set and didn't look that out of place, although the set itself looked a bit tired. However Sportscene never really looked 'right' before IMO, either having a cheap-looking set (with a backdrop at one point that was just a curtain with some light on it) or using the old set everything else used, except trying to not look like a news programme, which was difficult when it was stuck with the Reporting Scotland desk!
Compare that to now, when they have a nice set that can be relit quite effectively to look 'on brand', with a nice little special coffee table and even proper chairs that look good in a studio setting, and the difference is quite great. They are the only programme to come out of Studio C bar Sunday Politics (who still don't use the riveted coffee table they have) and Scotland 2014 (although I believe they just took their red chairs from the newsroom) that also uses chairs that look good on-screen - it might not seem an important set element but the ones seen in the cap above are miles better than the ones used on Reporting Scotland, Politics Scotland and previously Newsnight Scotland, which look like chairs rolled in from the newsroom.
