BBC One currently simulcasting with BBC News Channel. Due to the cabinet re shuffle happening at the moment.

I knew this would probably happen, just wondering if they will stick with it till 1pm, I doubt it

edit: BBC TWO showing an extended Daily Politics show, which may seem the news will be on till 11:30am Rolling Eyes

There wasn't a News Report slide at the start of the simulcast, was there?

No unfortunately not, theres was an announcement at the end of homes under the hammer, followed by a few trailers then Capes into the BBC News Report. Obviously the fact that the programme was ending and it was the top of the hour probably meant there was no need for a Slide

Curiously the ident mentioned Carrie Gracie in the studio - she's not been seen on air all morning.

At 1pm to continuity announcer said no Doctors today, but my tv epg shows it will be on at 2.35. Mistake? Would be weird to announce it was cancelled and then show it

These have also been used on network from at least Friday.

Thanks for the caps.

Here lies the disadvantage of having the ident footage playing behind 'normal' menus - special ones like this don't immediately catch the eye as being different, thus defeating the point somewhat.

Who has seen the 'exploding BBC1 endboard' sting to promote Bang Goes The Theory?

A black credit squeeze was used at the end of The Apprentice on BBC One, a matter of impartiality or just an error?

How was The Apprentice shown last night? The EPG showed one programme from 9pm - 11pm but I think it was actually two 1 hour programmes. Were the programmes really shown back to back or was there continuity/promos inbetween?

But they still couldn't resist bunging in a banner that said, "Euro Election Results on BBC 2 Now".

For some reason my cable box recorded each programme and the whole 2 hour block

As shown in requests, BBC One's new idents put up on Youtube with clean audio.

Here's the unseen Penguins:

Personally, I prefer it to the Banjos.
