They have talkback to and from all live programmes, including the news channel. When I worked in pres, a final script or a running order for some live programmes was also delivered, but not for news, as it would often change. Pres didn't have access to ENPS (pretty sure they still don't, especially since the outsourcing to become RedBee)

I imagine the nc1 director simply asked for a time to join the channel and back timed their version of the countdown to meet it. It's a shame they don't do it all the time.

I seem to remember when I worked in pres that it was just a case of if the director could be bothered or not, and if the news 24 gallery were being particularly helpful or not!

I've never seen a trailer on BBC One, that's says " Due Tuesday" like the one for In The Club.

It'll make sense if you check out the synopsis of the programme . . .

They've also changed their Twitter name to 'BBC Bun'. Reminds me of BBC Wales' 'BBC Won' whenever Wales are successful in a high-profile sporting event.

A big round cake ident? Maybe a bit like the "Consider Yourself" Christmas ident?
