And on Casualty it had the network ECP which said Holby City is on Tuesday at 8pm, even though it's 22.35 in Scotland.

Does anyone know if it's true there'll be a Doctor Who trailer during The World Cup final on BBC1 tonight?

I have the answer to my own question.

"@GaryLineker: Included in our World Cup final coverage, the thoughts of David Beckham and a mention of Dr Who, who I guess already knows who wins."

"@bbcdoctorwho: Keep your eyes on @BBCOne tonight… #HalfTime #GermanyvsArgentina #DoctorWho http://t.co/rSnClmc3KX

A nice sunrise Next caption just used prior to the One Show. Don't think I've ever seen it be used before.

I'm sure I've seen it used on hot days before.

BBC1 have just had a breakdown going out of the BBC News simulcast when the weather was supposed to appear. Consisted of the Monday evening programme menu and that same ceefax track that they have used since about 2010. Basically the same as what happened during May last year.

I don't think it's a cause for concern; it's a rare occurance, so I make a fuss about such things, too! Smile

I have to criticise BBC One's service last night. I presume after McClory's win at the Open, they apologized for being late. BUT, after that they forgot about it.

They should have introduced Seven Wonders of the Commonwealth as "slightly later than advertised". Same for the BBC News that followed. I believe they cut the news short (although not by much) to keep things on time after that too, which is slightly annoying when the MH17 and Gaza stories are big!

A bad night, I hope they cope a bit better when they do the Commonwealth Games, not necessarily keeping it on time, but making sure apologizes and appropriate announcement are made if they are late.

It makes you wonder whether they were really sorry.
