Did you hear that? After The One Show the CA did a live read to promote something on BBC Radio 2, there was then a promo for The Fast Show and the CA's mic was left up and she was heard to cry out in relief. Watch it on live rewind, it actually happened.

Don't blame her with all those tongue-twisters on the Radio 2 promo!

I'm guessing it's because she didn't screw up pronouncing classical guitarist Miloš Karadaglic's name at the end of a rather long sentence to promote Radio 2 Guitar Season.

I don't think I like Hank Marvin very much.

Fascinating.

Announcer had a tongue-tied moment just now coming out of Eastenders, with a bit of trouble over the "Llewelyn" bit of "Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen."

Preserved for prosperity, as these things should be:

Fascinating.

The start of The One Show, credits and pre-credit introduction, went out in silence. Chris Evans did make reference to it when the sound returned for the start of the programme proper.

Fascinating.

There was a box of potato snacks in the background of a scene set in the Queen Victoria in the episode of Eastenders shown this evening. The logo on the box was blurred out. Odd.

If this was the scene, it looks to me like that it's just part of the box packaging design. The blank bit appears to be the perforated cardboard section that is removed once the crisps are being prepared for sale. I'm assuming the red box below is stacked the opposite way around, with the perforated section facing away from the camera.

That's it. I think you are right. It looked like it was blurred out when I glanced at the TV. Now, not so much.

I know this is the wrong thread, but is BBC One related.

There was a bit of a strange breakdown on BBC Four just now at 8pm.

There was a BBC Four breakdown slide (for around 20 seconds), with a continuity announcement introducing the Glastonbury programme (which got cut off partway through), there was then a static screen (frozen on the start of the Glastonbury opening credits), there was then a BBC One breakdown slide, there was then the "BBC One HD cannot yet show programmes from your area" for around 30 seconds, before crashing into the Glastonbury programme.
