I noticed over the weekend that BBC have standardised their channel names on Sky's EPG.

In my region, 'BBC1 S West' has become 'BBC One S West' to match the sentence case descriptor for 'BBC Two HD' on 102.

Similarly, 'BBC THREE HD' has become 'BBC Three HD' (same with FOUR/Four).

It looks tidier and more uniform. They've also changed 'BBC PARLM'NT' to 'BBC Parliament', but 'BBC NEWS' is still all capitals.

Knew the channel name in the EPG looked different - but couldn't put my finger on what it was. BBC ALBA hasn't changed, still the caps, makes no sense.

Double bill of Doctors today instead of Perfection. Anyone know why?

I spotted ALBA just after I'd posted.

I think it went back to when SkyDigital first started, and all BBC channels were in capitals to perhaps make them stand out. It became increasingly difficult to fit everything in using that format as regions were eventually added, and then it looked odd that different channels were following different conventions.

What did they do for the extra 10 minutes?

Good question.

They showed a different episode of Escape to the Country. It was going to be Series 14, Sussex which was on for 45 minutes but it instead was replaced by Series 10, Dorset which was on for an hour.

It was because the Sochi coverage was moved to BBC One last Friday in Doctors usual slot.

BBC One HD keeps breaking up (glitching / jumping) every few minutes. Is anyone else also experiencing this?

It was doing that here as well, I actually thought our satellite dish had been knocked out of alignment due to the recent weather.

It's very frustrating, I'm sure you'll agree. Any idea what the reasons for this could be?

Did anyone catch the start of the BBC News at 6, this evening? When slowly zooming in on Sophie Raworth, the camera completely lost focus for a few seconds.

It seems as though the focus didn't keep up with the camera moving in:
