Lee Mack?

This does look interesting though. Nice to see their finally opting for something traditional for a Saturday night rather than an import or a naff 'fresh' idea.

I doubt it'll be either of those.

I think either Vernon, Lee or Peter.

Vernon is perhaps too obvious though and I can imagine it producing a few groans. But then there can't be much life left in All Star Family Fortunes which is his only really ITV gig these days.

The fact it mentions comedy, and the fact he seems to be the BBC's flavour of the month at the moment I reckon Lee Mack. He had that chat show about a year ago*, the format could be a reworking of that with less of a chat focus.

* That was Lee Mack's All Star Cast, and turns out it was about two years ago.

I hope the Lottery draws follow straight after this new family format and not half way in like they do currently.

Northern tends to mean from northern England.

Not someone who is Scottish doing an impression of an American. Incidentally he's hosting a US gameshow, I've read, so good luck to him.

I doubt it'd be Peter Kay. He's doing some work with Channel 4, but I could be wrong.
