According to BBC Online, the episode of Silent Witness tonight is a repeat for ;lat year's series. The Radio Times says there's still 1 more story (2 more episodes) left of series 15.
Is this right?
Is it because of the falling ratings?

There was an episode earlier in the series that was introduced as being different to listings so perhaps the story line wasn't appropriate at the time.
Apparently the BBC fear that the last two episodes of this series of Silent Witness (that were scheduled for earlier in the series but were moved forward) have the potential to prejudice a criminal trial that is in progress.

Yes, I think it was the second story in the series (due to be) that was in relation to grooming of children which had the potential the prejudice the trial which has concluded today. Whether they'll now show them, or keep them until the next series, I'm not sure.
BBC One suffered some technical problems after Doctors this lunchtime. Doctors ended as normal and then cut to black for five seconds or so before the announcer introduced a look ahead at this evenings programmes over a menu. The announcer trailed Planet Earth Live and Traffic Cops and then after The Apprentice the vision cut to black again before the menu returned no she trailed the news (not included in the menu) and the lottery draws which she mentioned was at 1045 vs 1035 on screen. The screen then cut back to black and returned to the menu. The screen went black again before the announcer advised that the channel was experiencing some brief technical problems and that we'd listen to some music (over the usual breakdown caption) almost as soon as the music started we cut straight into th start of the next programme (Escape to the Country).
