Original BBC2 Colour cube spotted on a VT during The One Show earlier this evening (Thursday, if you're viewing from the future). However the clip had been massively speeded-up; it almost looked silly.

The Preston Passion is live on BBC One at 12:00 on Friday. Its a live programme about Jesus, it might still be good though. BBC Three have done something similar in the past and that was all right. This might be better because it is in the day time, which was Jesus' favourite time.
Since BBC1 has a Titanic ident, are we expecting any new ident for the Olympics and Jubilee this summer?
Possibly although the idents were created by BBC One NI for themselves (although clearly good enough for Network). We'll have to see what the marketing team in London have up their sleeves.
Unrelated, can anyone think of a reason why BBC One have chosen to completely ignore Not Going Out from their new Friday night promo? Would I Lie, HIGNFY and Graham all get a mention - it doesn't even get shown on the end menu!
I'm sure they'll have something for the Olympics - not so sure about the Jubilee. I can't recall them having anything in 2002, or for the Royal Wedding - though IIRC ITV1 had a rather nice gold/purple ident back in 2002.
