No, and Panorama certainly doesn't.
Almost certainly a cock up, I'm sure the BBC Branding Freaks are making their way right now to Red Bee, to get this disastrous situation resolved !
Enjoy its absence while it lasts.
Eastenders doesn't normally go DOGless on BBC One HD (Freesat), does it?

So...er...is this BBC One HD...or...wha...I...don....even...what channel am I watching...I'm so hopelessly confused.
Guess I'll just switch off and never return.

Don't say that, they'll probably believe you!

In Northern Ireland we had the revolving cubes on SD BBC1 prior to The One Show tonight. After the announcement the cubes appeared for a few seconds. This was followed by a static BBC1 NI slide and then the One Show started abruptly without sound for a few seconds.

On BBC One South East, BBC South East Today ended in silence and seemed to stay on the closing shot for a while. I thought this was just BBC South East Today messing up and I wasn't going to bother mentioning it, I still think it could be but it could be linked to what you saw on BBC One Northern Ireland too.

There was a bit of a cock up (I think) with Inside Out London tonight, it started directly after the 'next, Inside Out' bumper, clipping the beginning of the following trail. At the end of the programme they had to hold on the copyright slate and run a generic BBC London News trail to fill the time.

Wikipedia suggests it was pushed back to early 2012 because of a "lengthy filming schedule".
Anyone know what happened to Sherlock this year? It was shown on the 2010/2011 promo at the start of the year (which seems like yesterday)

Should be very early in 2012, tomorrow night there's a screening of the first episode at the BFI.

Keep an eye on http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/christmas/ in case they put up the Christmas ident early.
That page actually replaces Trailers in the menu (which should really be called Idents anyway).
The same page is also as http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/idents
Maybe a spoiler, or maybe not, but I've spotted this commented out in the source code:
www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/images/idents/76/76_snowflake.jpg
A hint of the ident?

Not particularly, they've been using the same wooly jumper motif on the trailer endboards too.
