I could've sworn BBC One just briefly switched to EastEnders a few minutes ago during New Tricks!

Looked like BBC One HD only crashed to 'Enders opening sequence, I switched to BBC One SD and it was OK, I stayed with that channel for the rest of the show!

Haha - just checked my recording. It actually fades in to the titles as if from an ident, cuts just before the logo fades in/whistling bit.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw the EE titles or I'd have thought I was going mad.

Very surreal - midway through New Tricks and that popped up. Hmm. Did someone lean on the playout controls?

5HD also had issues during Police Interceptors tonight, with a supufluous advert appering 2 minutes into the programme, and silence and picture disturbance just after the first proper advert break.

Gremlins are definitely at RED BEE, Geordie Finishing School on BBC3 briefly switched to DIY SOS on BBC1 just now!

For the record, The One Show had a report on 'Sky Lanterns' or Chinese Lanterns this evening. They showed the ITV1 lanterns ident as part of the report.

Apparently that happened on BBC Four as well.

Yeah I was going to mention that too. When the report started I instantly thought of the ITV ident and then when they mentioned the farmers union ( the one that pressured ITV to remove the laterns ident). I thought they might mention or show the ident. Don't think they mentioned that ITV was pressured into stop using it though.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the first episode of Only Fools And Horses. It would be nice if there was some recognition of this by continuity planned for the episode due to be shown today on BBC One.

(I would have put this in the OFAH thread, I'm sure we had one recently but I can't find it...)
