Looks like there is bad sound echo on Ross's mic at the Bafta's tonight.

EDIT: Has now been fixed

Oh dear the Beeb always seem to have mic problems for the big occasions like Children In Need or Live Aid all those years ago. How was Rossy as host?

He seemed to revel in jokes he knew were awful.

At the end of Diagnosis Murder just then we had a BBC Two IPP telling us to switch over for Escape to the Country, and the anno said "your afternoon continues now over on BBC Two".

Then we had a trailer for Weakest Link, and the endboard had a large "today" where the BBC One logo usually goes. The logo was the smaller version at the bottom centre of the screen.

The afternoon schedules on BBC One and Two really are a mess now. It would make so much more sense to shift CBBC over to Two and have the "daytime" schedule all on One, and be done with it.

Also it seems CBeebies has made a return to BBC One, running from 3.05 to 3.30 before CBBC takes over.

Exactly. I think just putting The Weakest Link on BBC1 has to be one of the laziest moves ever in television - they haven't even tried to dress it up as new. I think the shows had exactly the same look and studio since it began.

The BBC have had a good nine months to prepare for their Neighbours free schedule, but really anyone would think Neighbours had been dropped at the last minute.

That depends on how thinly you slice the meat, how many people you are feeding and the quality of your refridgeration equipment. Rolling Eyes
