Much nicer than the monitors. One small issue, why is the BBC Four box in white? They do it on the www.bbc.co.uk/tv too and I can never understand why they don't just change the surrounding black to white; and in the case of this new cross-channel promotion I think the black box would look fine. Unnecessary inconsistency IMO.
One shown after Panorama too with the three lined stacked version. Someone obviously desperate to get this onscreen before the ECP redesign!
Much nicer than the scribble one - and it uses the music from the old red 'now' version too. You wonder how long they'll bother to keep doing programme images for each. It reminds me of the very short era BBC One had (I think during the balloon's time) where their evening lineup trails ended with clips from each show in the boxes on the left hand side, with the familiar white programme name/time text. Didn't last long.
Ironic on a night when C4 seems to have gone a bit backward on their equivalent.
It's hard to see here on such small images, but if you look very closely toward the bottom centre-right of the first 4 stills, there are 2 small white marks that turned out to be the base of the "P's" in 'Swap Shop'...
OMG.. That looks SO much nicer then before. Any chance of a video?
Interesting trail for
Jekyll
now being shown which has it's own slight variant of the endboard. Last time something like this was done, was for
Dracula
ISTR.
Dose anyone know when the next lot of bbc1 circle idents are coming im getting a bit bored by the current ones, I have only seen the surfer one on television once and others have been shortend.
the bbc should seriously consider bringing back the bbc1 balloon for one of the circles

Maybe tomorrow we will get to see the unseen one that Nicky was talking about a few pages back as the new ECP's are being launched tomorrow.
