That ident puzzles me! Have they always had one with the fairies etc? BBC Scotland show a forest one, but it focusses more on animals like rabbits, theres barely any fairies. Did the BBC make two forest idents before the Life in Cold Blood promos?

Yeah they changed the ident slightly for Life in Cold Blood.

So Blue Peter etc. are even earlier than first expected at 4.35pm. Don't get why Newsround is extended to 15 mins.


Afternoons slightly annoying to me anyway - would have made more sense IMO to keep Doctors at 1.40pm, then Diagnosis at 2.10pm, News at 2.55pm so CBBC begins at 3pm exactly. I thought that All Saints was supposed to be back next week.


I wonder though how long it'll take until they begin nibbling away at CBBC's slot. Probably by the time Wimbledon, Euro 2008 and the Olympics come around and CBBC is shunted over to BBC2 it'll return without it's first 20 minutes or so - though ideally now it would be best for CBBC to actually stay over on BBC2. Notice they're opting for yet another daytime property programme to fill the Weakest Link slot.

The Christmas Penguins Ident was just used into EastEnders.... minus the Christmas tree and music.

It was very odd, didn't like the music atall. Its a shame they've not kept it just for the festive season, even though its minus the music and tree. Just looks empty and bland.
