Thanks, but I can't open the video. What format is it in? Can anyone put it in another format that I can play? Ta.

I like the music alot, and wished the red was there somewhere, but alot better than stupid neon, and penguins!

It might be worth downloading VideoLan which opens most formats including that one. Smile

Nice, one of the more subtle, soothing ones

Looks like Bishops Rock lighthouse off the Isles of Scilly:

BTW, the file worked for me in RealPlayer

Just for good measure, a reasonable flash version of the Copter Laughing - NB; topped and tailed by a footy promo and opening seconds of EE respectively.

Branding wise it's honestly no stronger than any of the other recent symbols, but the fact that the soundtrack alone is so sombre, it leaves an impression - and IMO can claim its place as the most 'serious' ident now in rotation amongst the regulars.

However, while still an interesting pairing of sound and vision, it probably won't be taken seriously as a full-on 'national reflection' symbol a la Ballet - I'm not sure the central object of the chopper is quite right for that - though if Magic Forest and Penguins got the OK for standard news bulletins, this certainly will too!

I can see why it gets the thumbs down from a few folks, but I can't knock this ident for a) the serene and realistic approach for a change and b) some of the shots; some very nice aerial views. The set hasn't really hit the mark for me, this included perhaps - but as a piece of film I do like some of the qualities of this one, so I reckon it's not a complete failure by any means...

I like it, but agree that they could have kept a bit of red in all the idents.

Red helmet, (appears to be) red tailfin. Very subtle, but there is red there.
