It's nice that they've not just gone with "doing a funfair" but have added a little extra in the neon signs sprouting to life and going there! Completely bizarre but a great "Saturday night" entertainment ident.

Cool soundtrack too!

Love the fact that the BBC have finally started to put some effort into their idents again, especially with the return of proper special idents (I guess this one will be restricted to Saturday nights). Full marks to them! Fantastic, another good fun ident. This latest bunch are starting to have a bit more of a Channel 4 feeling to them for weirdness, but I really like it.

Agree, glad they have strayed away from the "red is compulsory" route

Did anybody else notice the bit with the dog peeing and getting shooed away by a giant hand? Surreal but very good. Why do I have a feeling that there is a longer version showing the signs entering the fair?

I'm probably wrong though.

What an amazing ident. The soundtrack is big and catchy but it's the visuals that are so clever! It all works if you watch it very closely too! Like the Rabbit stealing the neon bike from next door, the blue Knight jumping down from the building, the yellow dog in the Pet Shop. The continuity in this is top notch, more of the same as this is sooo refreshing to see. Channel 4 does actually look dull compared to this.

Along with Mission Control and the housewives cutting the crop circle grass these new idents are very very unique. Well done Red Bee!

Indeed, it almost makes you feel sorry for ITV1 who really ought to be the epitome of Saturday Night telly... they got nothing!

I like these new idents as they break away from the original concept of bringing people together. It leads to more variation and originality.

The more I look at it the more I think there's a longer version showing more of the signs jumping down from their respective shops.

Good to see some special and good idents on BBC One, I'm hoping that the Christmas Ident will be a lot more attractive this year!

Suppose the theme of bringing people together could be applied to this new ident with the funfair being the place that everyone is going to Confused: and a place of meeting Confused:

probably not tho but I think that the idents are becoming a strong pack and ITV should take note!

What a stunningly wonderful ident. I haven't seen it full screen yet, but isn't it great?
