I think it has been mentioned before but the 'sofa' ident i mentioned was infact the 'lawn' ident. It shows a bunch of woman mowing a grassland with an extremily quiet soundtrack (no beeps or anything). Then the camera goes to the air fast to reveal they are all mowing in a circle, then comes the BBC logo.

Don't feel bad - tis an easy, and all to common, mistake to make. Why, I often find myself trying to cut the grass before scolding myself as I sheepishly drag my sofa back inside.

Is it just me or was the junction into EastEnders a bit strange, as if maybe part of the pres suite was having trouble? First the One Show fell off air for a few seconds, then a helpline caption went without an announcement, as did a trailer which followed it, but it was all back to normal before the anno into EastEnders.

Yes, there did appear to be some unintended continuity silences after the One Show this evening but in this age of cluttered, noisy junctions it was quite a refreshing abberation.

Crop Circle (now officially named Lawn Circle) is now avalible on BBC One's website as COMPLETE CLEAN IDENTS....


But the real player is having problems, so if anyone could access the video, post the music to the ident please...

I myself happen to think the music is seriously monged!

It looks like BBC1 have got three edits of Mission Control now.

when was the bbc.co.uk/bbcone altered? That box in the corner looks silly. I wish BBC one wouldn't use that horrid box.

There was a promo some days ago for the Last Night of the Proms, which used the out-of-date (by 11 months! ) BBC1 logo (the Gill Sans red box).

Actually I was looking at it half-asleep so couldn't make out anything but the ladies .
