I think it's nice to have longer idents in longer idents; makes it more interesting.

BBC 1 should do what bbc 2 do and place peoples mocks on there website and get feedback of what the viewers want to see of bbc1 idents in the futur.

then they might eventually get a set of idents that are even more popular than the balloon

9PM on BBC One and due to the news report, trails were scrapped in favour of 2x slides, one either side of the report.

Don't think that's happened at this sort of time on the channel in ages!

Like Jekyll of recent weeks, another prog now has its own style of trail endboard - The One Show :

Nothing particularly fancy though - the screen is painted in red (initially in a circular motion, would you believe) using a roller as the logo and the other text is overlayed.

I like the way the new endboard is so versatile and can come in all sorts of variants. Shame we haven't seen anything like that on BBC2's endboards so far...

The old style end boards were quite versatile too, it was just a case of them becoming more inventive. They went from being red to being transparent and then different ways they would come on, and sometimes different colours like in the Spooks trailers.

But I love the new endboards as they are being more creative with them, this started with the Dracula trailers last Christmas I think.

Is there any video of this trailer? It sounds quite interesting.

First time I have seen a Radio station on one of those now boxes, and for Live Earth on BBC One promo it had a Green Swirl

The Live Earth Promo was very good! Nice to see it in a different colour.

Please would somebody upload these different endboards?

Green background, and the current BBC TWO logo included - a first for both?

Lovely stuff, yet another variation on the endboard. Keep them coming I say, it's nice to have a break from the usual red. And is that a globe on BBC One

Incidentally, how much nicer would that have looked had BBC Two adopted the same style logo as BBC One.
