Because it's a very simple programme which many people (including people like me who were originally quite sceptical) find good fun, regardless of its silliness?

Yes, it's silly and not in any way intellectually stimulating but it's good clean fun and appeals to a family audience. It's just the sort of thing that should be going out on a Saturday teatime.

If it's doing well then I'm not surprised at all

Absolutely, my kids LOVE Hole in the Wall. They understood the game within seconds of seeing the first round of the first episode. There are very few shows on TV like that these days: game shows are often so complicated, you have to have a strategy, people go in and out of contention, people get 'voted off', etc. Hole in the Wall is silly, but it's fun. People get points if they succeed, they get wet if they fail. And they look ridiculous in the costumes. Marvellous.

I like it, but dale is just annoying.

Got so sick of him yelling 'BRING ON THE WALL!' I muted my tv for a whole episode.

The BBC have uploaded the Christmas Drama trail to You Tube. Not sure about that snow topped logo effect.

They can't use the 'sparkles' for a third year. Anyway a similar sparkle graphic is used for the Saturday Night trailers.

I like it, even if it is a bit cheesy!

They've got their comedy trailer up there as well.

I agree. It would have been more than three years as they used virtually the same sparkle effect with the previous style. But not sure about that snow, maybe because its white on white but it just doesn't look quite right to me.

They should have inverted the background similar to the press shots of the W&G BBC One stings.

Thank you very much. I always feel it better that somebody post their own information to another forum rather than me copying and pasting it.

And even though it's good to get a sneak peak on You Tube I love to see them onscreen. CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!! Very Happy
