i don't think it made cover of radio times partly because the tx date changed...i'm sure if it had gone out on time, they'd have covered it

Well Survivors could be promoted much better if you ask me. Has it been decided when the Christmas idents will debut and for how long yet?

And on a sidenote, did you manage to get into John Sergeant's press conference about his decision to leave Strictly?

Paul Merton to be absent from 'Have I Got News For You'

Paul Merton has pulled out of this week's episode of Have I Got News For You due to illness.

The comedian and team captain, 51, is suffering from a kidney infection. Stand-up comic Frank Skinner will replace him on the topical panel show.

"Paul loves filming the show and really tried to avoid taking the day off," a source told The Sun.

"It's only a minor infection but he was too sick to film the show. Luckily, Frank stepped in and Paul was able to stay home and get some rest."

Merton stood down from the show during its eleventh series in 1996, but returned afterwards claiming it had been given a "shot in the arm" in his absence.

It's funny how about a year ago, Frank Skinner decided he wasn't going to do television anymore and return to stand-up. Now he's back on TV and doing the panel shows (where I think he's wasted btw).

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I found this on You Tube. It's the Christmas 2002 Snowflake ident clean, but with slightly different music.

Wow the one at the end of Hole In The Wall just now looked terrible.

"Strictly Come Dancing" text overlapped the box next to it and the credits looks awful at the bottom.

I'm not sure about any other junctions this evening, but Neon was not used into Casualty at 2020.

What did they use instead? They normally use Neon for all links up to and including Casualty.

How will BBC One broadcast local news when it's streamed online next week? Will the stream be different when we select our location on the website?

Is it my telly or is Sunday Life looking a bit strange? The lighting/racking isn't great (as usual) but some parts of it look as if they're almost filmic

You're right, it looks like they've gone filmic on the links, it never used to be like that.
