If you think that was a mess you should have seen the news channel
the 90 second countdown began about 30 seconds before ten, it ran all the way to the end slide, which was on screen in silence until it froze, and stayed on screen for a good minute before the news started at 2 mins past

Idents were a mess into the 10 o'clock news.
First they showed 10 seconds of helicopter, then a trailer appeared, followed by 5 seconds of Capes, and finally back to Helicopter again. All of which made the news 2 minutes late.

Big messup on BBC1 at the 6.10pm junction (London region anyway).
We had the weather in the news studio as normal but they cut out the weather microphone and left us with just the studio atmostphere mics.
That got sorted out.
Then after that it cut to a slide of BBC Weather with the continuity announcer saying there were problems going to the Weather Centre and he read out a summary instead.
After that we got a burst of the Kites music then it hastily cut to a programme trailer.

Hmm!!
Sometimes Petals seems wong for that time of day. One thing that bugged me about Moon, even though I like it, is that once you get the form up nothing else happens on screen. They could have shown some birds flying across the moon or something.
