As for the people looking out for such issues, I imagine they would be aware of such a trailer so would know it was a deliberate effect rather than an actual problem.
Errr no, I'm afraid that's not the case. My wife looked at me and asked whether our PVR was broken when the trailer appeared, and she's married to a broadcast engineer

If you're going to make it look like you're breaking into transmission there are classier ways to do it...

Even if you are aware, it's still distracting especially if you see it out of the corner of your eye, it's a natural reaction
There was a trail going out where I work a while back which was made up with deliberate video faults. It was showing for a while but it still attracted my attention and almost reaching for the phone every time it aired!

'UK' doesn't mean anything though, does it?
I've thought for a while now that given the choice the BBC would rather rename itself UKBC, because 'British' is now a dirty word.
I can just imagine the production team sitting down at some pointless strategy meeting and deciding that because some members of the crew might not identify as British, they must be credited as simply living in a two-letter acronym.
While France is happily given the title of 'French Crew'

Indeed.
I don't understand. "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom, the UK or Britain", from Wikipedia.
