34 seconds must surely be the longest an announcer has ever waited! It's a shame we don't see idents in full more often.

They've used the short version of Capes into the news a few times this week in Wales - perhaps not the most suitable (compared to Kites/Helicopter/Moon) but a pleasant change from Magic Forest!

I love the new dogs Ident! I love the big grand music to it

Dog Display is so crazy and unusual that it just stands out immediately from all of the other idents on other channels.

Its great and well done Wales for showing a whole 41 seconds!

Thanks for that Silver Nemesis and as bbc140 said well done BBC Wales for showing the whole thing. The regions always beat out network when it comes to showing idents. When it was the last day of the robotic 2's or the Rhythm & Movement idents I noticed that it was the regions that were playing them out in full so it gave me a chance to record them.

Somebody said on Digital Spy that now that we have dogs that maybe we should have a cat ident with a big ball of string. I think that's a brilliant idea.

Superb. Don't entirely know if it's "appropriate" for BBC One, maybe I'm just hankering for a few stylish, more formal idents like Kites but still a very humourous ident with a cracking Indiana Jones-esque musical score!

Top marks to Wales and Dan Austin, that'll teach me for recording Network and NI

Nice to have the dog running over the logo - shame it doesn't run over the Nations name though!

Has Capes grown on anybody yet? I love it now and think they have added 2 great new idents to the set. Hopefully there'll be more to come.

Dog Display is a superb ident but my favourite remains Helicopter as it harks back to the gravitas and seriousness of BBC One idents past.

I love the new Dogs ident.

It's so fun and uplifting.

The music reminds me of the Superman theme tune.

I actually really like Capes now as well - although I still think the work-in-progress music sounded better than the final cut.
