Up to Shorter idents (December 2006)

And I think we've seen the new ident that'll be used to introduce the news!! Smile

I also like how you can see the dog walking over the 'BBC One' bit. That was very good, it would look great on Saturday night introducing an entertainment show...unfortunately Neon isn't budging!! Evil or Very Mad

I was told that this would change - but no:

I thought they were going to make the dog that walks in the middle walk over the logo, like has been seen with Penguins. Then the BBC one doesnt look like an overlay.

But it does, the dog walks over it and under it, watch it again and you'll see.

I have to agree with those that like it - it's not the best general ident by a long way, but I appreciate the humour, with the little rebellious dog who refuses to run the course properly!

No discredit to the Network team but I have to say, BBC One Wales made their anno nicely short and snappy, and their playout of the ident ran right to the end!

Top stuff from BBC Wales.

Blast! It's always best to watch new idents on one of the regional channels on Sky, they play them in full. And I think the rebellious dog is actually the leader telling the others what to do. Love it!!
