Capes doesn't look too bad but from what we've seen already it doesn't appear to be anything special.
I'm pleased that the two clips posted are in fact drafts as neither of them seemed to be quite right. Also it was interesting to see the level of post-production used from the second clip (the original filming) to the first clip (more like the actual finished version).
I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for the first TX, if it is indeed today.

Oh I wouldn't throw the cape away just yet, I hear there's a downpour expected on BBC1 at 9pm tonight... followed by a lovely rainbow of course.
As for a new ident in September, well, you wouldn't be barking to think that (*clumsy hint*)
Also, not sure if it's been mentioned here already, but three of the current BBC One idents are being rested - whether that means "rested" in the Haka sense (ie taken into a back field and shot, never to be heard from again), we don't know...

Freedom I can watch other channels until 9.00pm!! 
I can't believe they are resting idents already. What is the point of spending all of that money and then not using them?
If they do rest three I hope it's petals, surfer (because the circle doesn't stay onscreen long enough) and footballers (because BBC1 don't have much football this season).

The sceptic in me is saying not to believe this relatively inactive member (33 posts in 5 years) of the forum. I really do doubt they'd rest idents so soon.
