Many of these idents look better on TV but this one seems a bit lacklustre at the moment.

to be honest a lot better audio wise and the piano goes well

edit looking at the ident it looks as if thats been cut and re shaped as well

What is going on here? The music is weird but I like the faster cutting. Is there going to be more than one version?

would need to agree with you there cyclon think that might be the short version possibly for the news updates ?

The form up is a lot faster, but preferred it slowed down, but the music, is still not right.

I think the music in the first version would go better with the souped up ident. I like how we see the cyclists forming the circle in the second one but the piano is a bit downbeat. And in the second one the car drives right through the cyclists at the top of the screen without knocking them down!!!!

Isn't the clue that both versions have the word 'pitch' associated with them - ie ideas for soundtracks?

What we get to hear maybe nothing like the ones highlighted so far.

It looks like they were working from a rough cut - the overhead shot apart from being speeded up, looks "dirty" and cluttered compared to the earlier link. I wonder how that music matches the final cut.

Neither version does it for me, a bit of a disappointment. The first piece of music (even with the momentary Kites soundtrack) is very plinky-plonky. As others have said, the jingle will just get drowned out by the anno anyway. The latter is better and clearer but not sure how it'll match the visuals.

The ident itself is just a bit dull, typical "live action people" idents. Nothing like Bikes or Kites or even the post-production work done on Football.

i'd say it might be a strong indication that the piano influence might play a part in the overall ident itsself

On that second version the music's even worse. Yes, the jingle is definitely stronger, but just bears no relation to what came just a couple of seconds earlier.

I actually quite like the new ident.

I think I prefer the 2nd ("new") music for it though.

Seems like this ident could be used for more sombre programmes/news (like Ballet was) with that soundtrack.
