I find the music a boring, it's not got much life in it, and I would have expected to tempo to pick up a bit on the form up.

Capes is all right but I think it'll grow on me the same way Helicopters eventually did. It has gone back to the original idea though of people coming together to make a circle.

That's interesting AxG picked up on that as well, it needs a bit more oomph. But part of me says maybe the ident should have two musical versions just like the BBC2 car mirror ident, then it can fit the mood for serious and not so serious programming.

It's unusual for them to make the change before the ident is onscreen though.

Okay, that plinky-plonk soundtrack is EXCEPTIONALLY annoying (and the tag/jingle is barely audible - I didn't hear it at all the first time, and only just the second). How does it compare to the pre-revision track, for those "in the know"? (Or *is* this the pre-revision version? If it is, I see the need for changes...)

The music on that video is the revised version as well... In the 1st version the BBC One symbol (jingle) was really clear and the music was 100 times better in my oppinion.

So why did they change it do you think?

Not a fan at all. The soundtrack is to cold and clunky. The visuals are OK.

Incorrect, the soundtrack on that video was one of the first variations on the music. Note it was posted in July.

It best be an old version, it's so ITV1.

The visuals have a quiet relaxed feel to them like Skateboarders but I think it needs more pace and cuts.

The ident wasn't as good as I was expecting.
The visuals are okay but, it has been let down by the soundtrack.
